EERA aims at promoting early researchers and PhD students. Within EERA their interests are represented by the Emerging Researchers' Network, whose convenor is a co-opted member of the EERA Council.

21. Emerging Researchers' Network (former Postgraduate Network)

The Postgraduate Network fulfils two main EERA objectives: the need to develop research training in Europe by generating methodology seminars and workshops and providing support doe young researchers on issues of career development, promoting collaborative work - including presentations.

Best Paper Award

After the Pre-Conference participants are invited to hand in full papers, which are reviewed by a committee. The successful author is invited to next year’s conference.

Best Poster Award

During the Pre-Conference, the convenors of the Emerging Researchers' Network select the best poster presented during the interactive poster session. The winner is invited to next year's conference.

ECER Conference Support (Previously the ECER Scholarships)

PhD students and recently qualified your researcher from Eastern European Countries are invited to hand in papers to be presented in the Pre-Conference together with a motivational letter and a letter of their supervisor. A committee reviews the application and successful candidates are invited to Pre- and main conference.

ECER 2010 Pre-Conference

Pre-Conference is organised by the Emerging Researchers Network and offers a series of workshops and invited lecturers in addition to the presentations submitted by emerging researchers.
