Scholarships for Postgraduate Students from Eastern European and Low GdP countries

The EERA and the Emerging Researchers' Network have established two scholarship funds for postgraduate students and new researchers within 1 year of completing their PhD in order to allow them to participate in this year’s ECER (European Conference on Educational Research) in Helsinki This will include:

  • 10 Scholarships for students and recent graduates from Eastern European Countries
  • 10 Scholarships for students and recent graduates from other low GDP Countries (including those from low GDP countries studying in high GDP countries)


Whilst this scholarship is open to recently qualified researchers (within 1 year of completion of a Doctorate) if applications exceed the number of scholarship priority will be given to PhD students.
 

Conference Dates
ECER 2010 “Education and Cultural Change.”
Pre-Conference: 23 - 24 August (Monday - Tuesday)
Main Conference: 25 - 27 August (Wednesday - Friday)

Each scholarship includes:

  • Accepted presentation for the Pre-conference
  • Fees for the main conference
  • Social events
  • 500€ for travel and accommodation costs

To apply, please send the following before 30 April:

  • Your CV
  • Your proposal for the pre-conference/your proposal number and a small description of your research
  • A motivational letter
  • A letter from your supervisor
  • A copy of your passport.
