			<description>The 2009 Best Paper Award was given to Konstanze Spohrer from University of Strathclyde, Educational and Professional Studies, Glasgow for the paper titled: Deconstructing “Aspiration”: UK policy debates and European policy trends" &lt;br&gt;
The 2009 Paper Award received about 30 submissions. 50% of participants followed the invitation to re-submit their initial papers based on the feedback they received from the reviewers. </description>

			<description>For ECER 2010 the EERA and the Emerging Researchers' Network have established two scholarship funds for postgraduate students and new researchers within 1 year of completing their PhD in order to allow them to participate in this year’s ECER (European Conference on Educational Research) in Helsinki. &lt;br&gt;The scholarships will be given to applicants from Eastern European countries and  from other low GDP Countries (including those from low GDP countries studying in high GDP countries). </description>
